The Irish dimension to
Human Rights in Latin America

Guest Editor:

Patricio Rice, Director of FEDEFAM
(Latin American Federation of Families of the Disappeared)

The editors of Irish Migration Studies in Latin America invite submissions for a special issue (Volume 8, Number 1, August 2010) that will explore the Irish dimension to human rights in Latin America. Articles may focus on any aspect of the many human rights linkages between Ireland and Latin America. Submissions could take the form of a study based on one particular person, the history of movements advancing the cause of human rights, incidences of human rights abuses, major events, or diplomatic or political involvement. Articles in English should be submitted to the Guest Editor by 31 July 2010; articles in Spanish, Portuguese, French or German should be submitted by 30 June 2010. The editors also welcome book, film and website reviews, edited discussions of primary documents, photo essays, and short biographies related to the topic of the special issue.
