Description & History of the Place
In 1923, Tomás Keating founded a town on Castilla railway station. He bought the land in 1870 (1415 has). Cuartel VIII, Paraje límite con Carmen de Areco. [1]

Naming
Estación Tomás Keating, pueblo Castilla (also, a hospital in Chacabuco). 

Irish Settlements
James O’Shea (Longford 1844 – Buenos Aires 1922). His son Bernardo O’Shea (Castilla 1878 - ?). [2]
